Mestizo is an acoustic trio hailing from Boulder, CO. Mestizo's original tunes are folky and laid-back, infusing bits of pop, jazz, and Americana styles.
In summer 2009, Mestizo released their first studio album. The self-titled 10-track release was a local success, getting radio airplay and fan acclaim. Hidden among the catchy original songs on the CD is Mestizo's rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which just happens to be Mestizo's most-requested cover song. Mestizo enjoys performing regularly in the Denver/Boulder area and catching up with local fans.
