Mild all around, but certainly tasty. Lots of citrus without much bite. Easy drinking.

IPA for the masses! Nothing really stand-out, but it tastes like I expect an IPA to taste. A little on the mild side but nice and tasty.

The name was a shoein, and the taste goes hand in hand. Surprised that it's 7% too, as it doesn't quite feel that strong. We'll see if a 2nd is in the cards.

The nose has a malty barley wine quality to it. There's a metallic component to the bitterness profile, not entirely unpleasant but unexpected. The other bitter flavors are really nice though.

Very clear amber color with a minimal head. Pretty straight forward at first with citrus and floral notes but this one hits you hard with a dandelion/carnation aftertaste! Very interesting. More herbal than citrus with hints of black tea and flowers. If you like the bitter aftertaste, this one is for you...

Stronger than I expected, and I wasn't expecting too much out of a 6.5, but the concentration of 16oz cans might make a difference. The west coast is definitely preferable to other styles in my book. Perhaps the warm-up Modelo is having some impact though.

This is really interesting, but I think a Kolsch isn't the best vehicle for this intense sage flavor. I want a Kolsch to be light and the herb weighs it down a bit.

Kind of weird. It would go great with a pork tenderloin or maybe some turkey... I like the sweet honey and herbal flavor but the sage finish kind of overpowers it. That said, it's pretty easy drinking. Like maybe I spilled some herbs in my Modelo. I probably won't buy it again but it was a good experience.

Like drinking the open prairie! The sage is somewhat overpowering but it still goes down easy. Can't say I've tried a lot of Kolsch brews either, but after this one I'd be ready for another.

Intense! Sappy. Lots of pine. But where's the nose? It seems to be missing.

Pretty tasty, heavy piney hops followed by a white grapefruit rind wallop finishing up with a little dark honey/pollen aftertaste. This does not taste like it's 9%... I better be careful...

Tasty, piney, and strong. Grounded in some yummy hops, this will definitely be a double-dipper. Which isn't saying much, but I won't have to debate the issue much.

I haven't had many IPLs so I'm not sure what to expect. It's hoppy alright, but smoother and without much nose. I usually don't do hoppy beers with Mexican food, but I think I'll have to try it out with this one.

I really like this! Decently full flavored lager with a hoppy kick. It's a nice alternative to an ale that still has a bit of a punch. It's pretty straight forward with a little barley and sweet pink grapefruit hoppiness with a lingering white grapefruit bitterness at the end.

Having had this multiple times straight from the source, I was a bit skeptical on how the canned version would fare. It doesn't disappoint, but I still prefer it on draft.
